The D.C. Temple
We couldn't leave the D.C. area without checking out this amazing temple. It is so beautiful! We walked all around and enjoyed the gorgeous scenery. The visitor center was open so we looked around inside. The girls were both very upset that we had to leave and I don't blame them. I'm so grateful for my wonderful, amazing husband for letting us tag along on his trip and for taking us to see all these great cities!

Washington D.C.
Jefferson Memorial
Smithsonian Museum
U.S. Capitol
Smithsonian Museum
U.S. Capitol
We drove down to Washington D.C. from NJ for about a day and a half before we flew back to Austin. I've always wanted to see D.C. and was so excited to tour all we could. We spent the most time at the Smithsonian museum and the Smithsonian Castle. Jaeden asked a security guard at the castle where the princess was and he said she was the princess. She liked that. We were so glad we were able to see all we did in one day.

New Jersey Beaches
The beaches here are beautiful. It was really windy and cold but that didn't seem to bother Jaeden. Avery on the other hand couldn't wait to get back to the car. We went to a pier at Point Pleasant Beach and it looked like so much fun. The season doesn't start until Memorial weekend so we couldn't ride any of the rides or play the fun games. It was so nice to walk up and down and be on the beach.

NYC
On the train from NJ to NYC. The kids were so excited.
Jaeden hitches a ride with Kinsey
My little piano players.
Allison was our tour guide into NYC. We took the train and went into the city for the day with the kids. We spend the majority of the time in Central Park and FAO Schwartz looking at all the fun toys. It was such a cool toy store. By the time we got back to the car everyone was so exhausted and I couldn't resist taking this last picture of Jaeden cause that's about how I felt too. We had such a great time and LOVE New York City. Thanks Allison!
City of Brotherly Love
Jaeden and I ran up the "Rocky Steps" and then back down and Jaeden went right back up for a second time. It was very fun!
Dan and I had a lot of fun learning about Philadelphia and all the history. We took a hop-on-hop-off tour bus and got to see so many neat things. For lunch we had a Phily Cheese Steak and it was delicious. The girls did so great considering how much walking and site seeing we did. I loved this city and was so glad we got to come.
