Avery has Major Dance Skills

Me and my little Ave
This girl has some awesome moves, she is such a good little dancer with no inhibitions
Avery's dance teacher had the parents come in and watch the cute little girls do a little dance routine this week before their Christmas break. They did so good and it was so fun to watch Avery and all the dance moves she's been learning. I love that she loves to dance and she gets so excited to go to dance class every week.

Christmas Fun

Grammie D gave these cute nativity magnets to the girls last year at Christmas time, they were so excited to put it on the fridge and make their nativity scenes
This is Dominic's plastic food of choice, corn on the cob. He plays with it all the time.
Fun silly time while setting up the Christmas tree
This is a pretty constant scenario of Avery and Dominic, she is constantly trying to hug him or hold him
Brooke and Hailey came back to join us for our ward Christmas party
Hailey and her arm rest enjoying the singing
Jaeden's primary singing their cute song

Our 20 Minute Snow Day

It started to snow a couple weeks ago and Avery ran and got her snow gear on and rushed outside to play
So cute, trying to catch the snowflakes. Jaeden said they got to leave class even though it wasn't recess time to go outside and play in the snow too, I loved that!
Dominic and I didn't stay outside too long, TOO cold!

Dominic's Firsts

This is Dominic's first time sitting up... well he started to fall over here but he did great for a minute or so. :)
I noticed Dominic getting a tooth, his very first, and then noticed what his shirt says and that it was a truely inspired outfit for the day. In case you can't tell what it says, "Yay, my first tooth!"
This was all about a month ago. Now he is a big 8 month old sitting, crawling, and trying to pull himself up onto everything, with 6 teeth and all. The crazy boy fun begins....

Brooke and Hailey

My friend Brooke came to visit us over the weekend with her cute little girl Hailey who is 2 1/2. We had a very fun, busy weekend together. After we all did a 3 mile walk around Pflugerville Lake, we went to 2 different parties, had playground time and then came home for dinner. The kids and Brooke crashed on the ground and we put on Cinderella to calm down for bedtime. We can't wait for them to come back and visit again.

Dominic

Dominic loves this jumper. He gets some good distance in it.
Dominic is already 7 months old!
His mom LOVES him!! :)

Avery's First Haircut

She's in the "making a silly face for every picture" stage. She was so excited for her first haircut. I was not, but it needed to be done.
Avery's before pictures
I was so much more nervous than her. I kept looking at the ground at all her beautiful curls on the floor.
She proclaimed, "Mom, I have a new head!"
We celebrated Avery's first haircut with one of her favorite things, Ice Cream!! A girl after my heart. :)

Grandma and Grandpa are so Fun!

Jaeden and Avery have been wanting to trace everyone with their side walk chalk and then draw their clothes on them. When Grandma and Grandpa Haynes came to Austin to go trick or treating with us, they got them outside to trace them too. They are great sports, I couldn't resist taking their picture. We love you!

Better Late Than Never Halloween Pics

So excited and ready to trick or treat!! Avery asked to go trick or treating every night the whole month of October. When we finally went, I think she was finished after 20 minutes. She got her candy and just wanted to go home and eat it.
We went trick-or-treating with the Brocks in their neighborhood
It took some coaxing to get Avery to take this picture by the wicked witch
Audrey, Jaeden and MaKell
Avery and Jaeden at the cake walk, except I think it was really the candy walk
Our cute little Belle
The cutest Cat in the Hat ever!
Our cute little Alice with Tyler the Power Ranger
We had a great Trunk or Treat Halloween party at our church the night before Halloween. We always love coming every year.

Elgin Farms

Dylan and Avery, Aiden in the back
She put hair on her pumpkin, gave it a haircut and then carefully gave it a face

Almost all the playgroup kids. Dylan, Kylie, Ethan, Avery and Aiden. We missed Lizzie.
Dylan and Avery's sweaty hayride
We've been coming to Elgin for the past couple of years with Jaeden's playgroup but this year was Avery's playgroup. She was so excited to decorate pumpkins, go through the maze and ride the hayride. We had a great time and I'm sure we'll go back next year too.

Avery's Dance Class

For Halloween, Avery's dance class was able to dress up for their lesson. Avery wanted nothing to do with it, I was really surprised. Her outfit could only be her pink tights and black leotard. I guess she takes dance more serious than I thought.
This is Avery below and above (4th girl to the left) on her first day. (I'm really behind on posting this)

More Fun Utah Pics

My gorgeous sisters Kellie and Megan
All the fun cousins (minus Jaeden and Avery, you were greatly missed my cuties!)

Me and Mary after Lori gave us a make-over

Kaiden was so sweet. He loved holding Dominic and was so good with him despite the look on Dominic's face.

We had the whole day Saturday to do nothing but just be together and watch conference. It was so nice! During the priesthood session all the girls went to a fabric store and then came home and had soup and homemade rolls, delicious!! Shannon, my second cousin that I love so much, came and joined us too.

My Mom's Surprise Party

My sisters and dad started planning my mom's surprise party a couple months before the big day. I didn't think I was going to be able to be there but wanted to SO badly. Her party was on a Friday night and my awesome brother Adam (Tyler is too!!) called me Tuesday night with his father-in-law and made this little dream of mine come true by supplying me with a plane ticket. Dominic and I arrived in Utah Thursday night. Tyler and Mandolyn came to pick us up from the airport. Adam wanted me to keep us being in Utah a surprise from the rest of the siblings so that was fun surprising everyone too. In order to keep my presence in Utah a surprise, I was able to spend the whole day on Friday with my absolutely wonderful sister in law Mandolyn. We had the best time shopping and going out to lunch, it was so fun.
My dad told my mom that they were going to go to the stake center and finally get set apart as missionaries so she would be all dressed up for her surprise party. This is when she walked in and saw us. I couldn't help but cry. Just being there meant the world to me.
Aw, I LOVE my family!

Priceless to me. Thank you so much Adam and to your father in law!

Me and my beautiful sister Lori
This is my Uncle Richard and dad. Do my mom and Aunt Julie (her sister) have the same taste in men or what??
