Happy 4th Birthday Jaeden!

Jaeden has had three days of birthday celebrations. Today was the last day. We had thirteen cute little kids over this morning for a "dress-up" party. They all looked so cute in their dress-ups. The girls decorated princess wands and the boys decorated crowns. Then we played duck-duck goose and ring-around-the-roses. Afterwards the kids got to take a wack at the pinata. It wasn't giving up so Dan took over and broke it for the kids. We had lunch, cake and present time. It was a lot of fun and we were so grateful for all the fun friends that were able to come and help celebrate Jaeden's birthday.

Birthday Fun at Grandma and Grandpa Haynes'

We were able to go down to San Antonio and celebrate day one of birthday celebrations of Jaeden's big momentous birthday #4!! She got to help grandma and grandpa decorate the house and then we had a nice birthday lunch. Afterwards Jaeden, me, grandma and grandpa went downtown to the children's museum and spent a couple of hours there playing. It was a lot of fun and so nice to be able to have that one on one time with her. Thank you Dennis and Bev so much for all you did to celebrate Jaeden's birthday, she loved every minute of it!!

Happy Easter

I hope everyone had a great Easter. We went to our neighborhood Easter Egg hunt Saturday and got there like 20 seconds after it started and missed the whole thing. Our friends shared with Jaeden and Avery though, thanks! Easter morning the Easter Bunny hid the girls Easter baskets and Jaeden found hers with the pots and pans and helped Avery find her's in the closet. We had fun playing with the bubbles and playing with their little stuffed chicks. We had a great day and hopped everyone did as well!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

This past week I've been talking about St. Patrick's Day with Jaeden and told her how we get to wear green. She woke up this morning very excited to put on her green outfit and wanted to invite her friend Tyler over to see if he was wearing green too and if he wasn't she wanted to pinch him. I should have left that part out of our St. Patrick's Day discussion. Well growing up my mom always made us green eggs or green waffles for breakfast. I thought I would make the girls green eggs and give them green milk. Well they both sat down and just stared at the food afraid to eat it. Jaeden declared she wasn't hungry anymore and wanted clear water. Avery finally ate it all. I put my green workout shorts on for the gym and as we were walking out the door Jaeden says, " Mom your a little strange but I like you." I guess I've succeeded as a parent! I hope you all have a great St. Patrick's Day!!
