Christmas Bike

Grandma and Grandpa George got Jaeden a Dora bike for Christmas. We took her out to the church parking lot to give it a whirl. Avery chased her all around and Jaeden thought it was so funny.

Little Ballerinas

We got Avery a little dancing outfit so she could dance around the house with Jaeden. Both her and Jaeden love to twirl around.

Our Little Stinkers

I was pulling the laundry out of the washer and turned to put them in the dryer to find my children inside. They thought it was some great fun.

Merry Christmas

On Christmas Eve night, one of our family's tradition is to yell up the chimney to Santa to ask him for new pj's or some toy we want. Jaeden asked Santa for a new barbie. It's pretty embarrasing to do now but its great fun when you are young. We had a great Christmas this year. Grandma and Grandpa Haynes came over for Christmas breakfast and played with Jaeden and Avery as they showed them their new toys.

Our Reinactment

We reinacted the nativity scene with the cousins at Jackie and Dax's house Christmas Eve. Jaeden was very excited to be Mary, and Dan Joseph. We tried to get Avery to be a little shephard but she didn't stay dressed very long in her costume. I think the favorite character by the kids was Dax being the donkey.

Cibolo Nature Center

This is in Beorne, TX, not too far from San Antonio. Grandpa Haynes brought Dan and I, the girls and Grandma Jackie here for a picnic and gorgeous scenery. Grandpa Haynes showed Jaeden how to skip rocks and Grandma Jackie helped Jaeden find good rocks to throw into the water. We had a great time.

A Texas Christmas

On Saturday we went with Aunt Jackie, Uncle Dax, Jaxon, Kayla, Audrey and Grandma and Grandpa Haynes to Enchanted Springs Ranch for a Texas Christmas. We had such a great time. It was set up like an old country western town. There were horse rides, tractor rides, miniture pony rides, tipees, a gun fight, cannons, Country Santa, goats, pigs, anything old and western and it was there. We ended the day there sitting and listening to a couple of cowboys singing some Christmas songs and the kids, including Dax got up and grooved to the music. It was so fun!!

Santa!!

We went to Lakeline Mall this morning to sit on Santa's lap. Jaeden was so happy to see him and tell him exactly what she wanted. Avery however has never looked so scared and held on to me for dear life. She wanted nothing to do with him. We'll have to try again next year.

Family Pictures

Our wonderful friend took some family pictures at Pflugerville Park for us this past week. I think the total session lasted about 5 minutes. It was really hard to keep kids happy when they were looking at a playground and couldn't go play on it. We got a few with smiles though.

"O Christmas Tree"

We got all our Christmas decorations out and up. Jaeden helped decorate the whole tree. She was very excited. Every morning she reminds us to plug in our tree and loves to take naps with her Santa hat on. Avery likes to squat down and smile at her reflection in the bulbs, very cute!

Wiggly, Wiggly Christmas

We put on Wiggly, Wiggly Christmas for Jaeden and Avery and they loved it! It was so funny to watch them clap and dance, they were both getting so into it. I love watching kids get so excited!

Fun and Freezing

We went to Sea World the day after Thanksgiving and had a wonderful freezing day! We fed the sea lions, Jaeden got to sit on Santa Shamu's lap and I got kissed by a beluga whale! What more can you ask for in a day?

Happy Thanksgiving

We were able to go down to San Antonio and spend our Thanksgiving with Dan's parents and grandparents. It was so amazing and delicious! We made a Thankful Tree and we all wrote what we were thankful for on a leaf. We always have such a wonderful time with Grandma and Grandpa Haynes!

My Family in Utah

This is my beautiful family in Utah. My brother Adam and sister MaKell and my family are missing but I wanted to tell them I miss and love you all so much! I hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful. (Thanks for the photo Lori, I borrowed it from you!!)

My Early Bird

For the past 2 weeks, without fail, Jaeden is knocking on our bedroom door at 5:45am. She wants to put on a dress, play, and have breakfast. I am NOT a morning person and don't know what to do about this girl. This is Jaeden this morning wanting to go for a walk outside with her doll before 7am and was very upset when I informed her it was too early.

Trick or Treat

Halloween night was very exciting! Our beautiful Snow White and little Cowgirl had a great time trick or treating. When we got back Jaeden and Dan sat out on the drive way passing out candy. Jaeden loved every minute of it and gave half of her candy away too, she didn't want to stop. I hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween night!!

Lots of Halloween Fun

This is the first time we've carved pumpkins with the girls. We had a lot of fun and both of them got into it.

We went on a fun fall outing with Aunt Jackie and Audrey to Sweetberry Farms out in Marble Falls and got to go on a fun hayride (Avery really did have a fun time). The girls had fun pulling each other in a wagon, petting goats, and climbing on pumpkins.

Here are a few pictures from our wards Halloween party. Aunt Jackie and the cousins came with us. We love that they live near us!

Elgin Farms Pumpkin Patch

We went on a little field trip today for Jaeden's playgroup to Elgin Farms. We had a great time doing rubber duck races, coloring pumpkins, going on a hayride and petting lots of animals.
