Elgin Farms Pumpkin Patch

We went on a little field trip today for Jaeden's playgroup to Elgin Farms. We had a great time doing rubber duck races, coloring pumpkins, going on a hayride and petting lots of animals.

Washing the Car

Jaeden loves to help daddy wash the car. They had a good time but I think Jaeden got more water and soap on her and daddy than the car. She's the best little helper though!!

We recently were able to tag along with Dan on a buisness trip to New Jersey. I was so excited since I've been wanting to go to NYC for so long. A huge bonus was being able to visit Margie and her family since they now live in Calcium, NY. They came down and joined us on all the touristy things as well. It was so fun being able to see things like the Yankee Stadium, Time Square, Rockefeller Center, Madison Square Garden, Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Central Park, the list could go on forever. It was such an amazing, crazy city. I wanted to post some pictures of our trip for everyone to see. I loved it and hope we are able to go back again sometime.

Central Park

I absolutely loved Central Park. It was so refreshing to go from a crazy, busy city all day and walk right into such a beautiful, huge park. We walked through it for about 4 hours and probably didn't even cover half of it. Jaeden collected leaves the whole time and said that was her favorite part. I think Avery was just excited she could finally get out of her stroller and walk around.

Sandy Hook

While we were in NJ, we drove to Sandy Hook to see the lighthouse and the beautiful beaches. It was so gorgeous and we had a great time playing at the beach.

Old McDonald's Farm

I drove Jaeden and Avery up to see Margie, KC, and Haylee in Calcium, NY during our trip. We had so much fun with them. Margie took us to Old McDonal's Farm and had such a great time. We got to pet all the animals, feed the cows, pigs, and goat's and take a fun "Wizard of Oz" theme hayride.

It was quite the site from the 86th floor of the Empire State Building. Avery seemed pretty mesmerized by the view.

NYC Subways...

I've got to admit, I was even excited to ride the subways. Jaeden thought it was so great that we got to ride the train so many times.

Statue of Liberty

It was such an amazing sight to take the ferry from Battery Park and to beable to see the Statue of Liberty so close. We were grateful that KC was able to get us tickets to go inside the statue also. There are definelty a lot of perks to being in the military.
