Turkey Girl

Jaeden had playgroup at the Megerle's this week. Rushell helped the kids make these totally cute turkey hats. They are so cute, I had to take a picture of her with it on.

We are so excited to announce to our friends and family that we are having a BOY!!! We couldn't be happier!!

DinoLand Exhibit at Zilker Park

We went to this really neat dino exhibit in the botanical gardens at Zilker Park with the playgroup from our ward. The girls thought it was really cool to see all the different kinds of dinosaurs they had. Avery just mostly wanted to run around and play in the dirt. A few different exhibits showed the dino's eggs and Avery kept saying, "I want those big eggy bites" which is what we call scrambled eggs at our house.

Fairy Princess Party

Jaeden and Avery's cute little friend Emma had her 3rd birthday party on Saturday. It was a fairy princess make-over party. They got their hair done and make-up while watching the new Tinkerbell movie and then made princess wands and colored a tinkerbell picture. Jaeden and Avery have been wearing their little fairy skirts and wings since the party. It was so fun and we were so happy to be able to celebrate with Emma.

The girls were so excited for it to get dark to go trick or treating. We started off excited and ready. The second house had a big dog that ran to see the kids in their costumes and from then on Avery was very apprehensive to knock on strangers doors. I think passing out candy is even more fun than going door to door for Jaeden and Avery. They took turns putting candy in people's bags and telling them how pretty or scary they looked.

My friend Lara hosted a Halloween storytime/cookie decorating playgroup for the kids in our ward. There was such a good turnout and the kids had so much fun!
